Job Specification – Assistant Knowledge Services Manager (systems)
A&L Goodbody is recruiting a librarian to work in their award winning Knowledge Centre – an Assistant Knowledge Services Manager with a focus on library systems.
The Assistant Knowledge Services Manager plays a key role in the day-to-day running of the Knowledge Centre. He/she is involved in managing and responding to reference and research enquires from A&LG lawyers across the firm. He/she takes the lead on managing and developing the library management system (KnowAll), Solcara Legal Search (federated search tool) and other Knowledge Centre systems and online tools. He/she is also involved in the management of the digital and print collections.

Tasks Provide extensive legal research support to members of the Firm and its clients. Skills Excellent legal research skills. Qualifications and Experience A recognised post-graduate qualification in Library/Information Studies Minimum 1-2 years’ experience of working in a library with a busy enquiry service in a legal, corporate or special library setting.
