Media Data Co-Ordinator

Inflight Dublin is a leading provider of Inflight Entertainment (IFE) content, with over
50 airline clients worldwide. Our services include the provision of Hollywood and
non-Hollywood Movies, TV programmes and Audio content to our clients, Web
Development, Apps, Streaming, Design work and Consultancy Our business has
grown substantially over the last few years, and we are now in a position where we
need to recruit a Media Data Co-ordinator with data entry skills to join our Metadata
Department.

The role provides an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and hard working person,
who is seeking strong career development prospects and rewards.

The Responsibilities
Working under the Metadata Manager, the main responsibility of the role is to collate,
enter and manage large quantities of media data and images (Audio, Movie and TV)
in various formats and systems, and to strict deadlines. Other responsibilities
include:
 Researching and entering new audio, movie and TV source data into content CMS
 Proofreading data exports
 Sourcing, creating and editing images relating to Audio, Movie and TV content
 Management of image library
 Sourcing, writing and editing media articles for airline publications
 Timely, polite and accurate communication with clients and IFE systems manufacturers
 Contributing to workload planning and development of the Department

The Candidate
The key attributes and skills that we are looking for in candidates are:
 Experience of working to an advanced level with all Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel
 Ability to enter and manage large quantities of data within tight deadlines
 Focus and attention to detail
 Strong command of the English language to the level that he/she is able to edit articles for publication in airline magazines
 Capable of learning new systems quickly
 Confident communicator, both verbal and written
 Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop an advantage
 Good research skills
 Strong understanding of current trends in media, i.e. music, movies, television
 3rd level qualification, ideally from a recognised University
 Good team player who is prepared to make an extra effort to help his/her colleagues
 Fluency in a second language would be an advantage
