The Health Service Executive (HSE) wishes to appoint a National Health Service Librarian. This is a new post and is at General Manager grade (ref HSE grade structures). The post-holder will lead the strategic development and national co-ordination of existing HSE regional library services, and a programme of modernisation, development and extension of HSE library functions across Ireland, so as to deliver, through a single national structure, a more effective service. This more effective service will be closely aligned to the full breadth of health and social care service needs; and to ongoing developments in technology and knowledge translation thinking.
Closing date for applications is 29th January 2016. Interviews are planned for Thursday 11th February 2016.
