Research Assistant (French Speaking)
Department Purpose and Structure
The Research Assistant will report to the Library & Research Manager, working within the Belfast Research team and having regular contact with the wider Research function of the Global Library Service. The ideal candidate will be fluent in French and a competency in business French. They will have at least two years’ experience in a research facing role in a commercial environment.
Role Purpose
The Belfast office of Allen & Overy has established a Research team as part of its Library and Research offering to the firm. This team work is part of and works closely with the highly regarded Global Library Service.
The Belfast team has primary responsibility for the provision of a suite of products designed to support the client relationship teams across the network. There are a variety of Company Profile products, Legal Market Profiles and Career Profiles currently produced, and the requirement now is to build on the success of these products to develop new offerings. This role is designed to facilitate this process, furnishing the necessary skills to test and develop new products and inform the evolution of the group.
