Key responsibilities

Lead and develop our new school library facility, maintaining and developing a high-quality school library.

Liaise with and report to the Principal in running and maintenance of the library and all accompanying literacy and numeracy-based programmes.

Liaise with all Academic and Administrative Staff, Year Heads, Parents, Students, all stakeholders as appropriate/required in the delivery of a state-of-the-art library facility for St. David’s Holy Faith Secondary School, Greystones.

Supervision of students using the library for reading and study.

To lead with key Whole School Initiatives focused on literacy and digital literacy instruction.

Formulate in consultation with the school Principal a Whole School Library Policy.
It is envisaged that the librarian will work on a part-time basis Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8am – 4.30pm, start date to be agreed.
