The Teresian Secondary School is looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, and creative School Librarian who will provide a library service to students and support teaching and learning in the School. The position is full time and is subject to a probationary period of six months. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of maintaining and running our school Library.
The Teresian School is a fee-charging all-girls Junior & Secondary School, in Donnybrook, Dublin 4. The campus also includes a Pre-School for boys & girls from two years of age.
There is a total student population of 430 and a teaching and administrative staff of 50. The school is committed to the ethos of The Teresian Association and endeavours to excel in all areas of school life.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Apart from enthusiasm and passion for working with young children and teenagers in a School environment, to be considered for this position candidates must have:
- A degree or relevant qualification in Librarianship
- Knowledge and experience of Library IT systems
- Ability to deliver training
- Excellent management, organisational, ICT, communication and interpersonal skills
- Be capable of working on his/her own initiative and as part of a team
Be capable of working to established deadlines
It is desirable that the candidates also have:
- Experience working with Accelerated Reader
- A competence in Gaeilge
