DCU is now seeking to recruit a dynamic, innovative and experienced individual to the position of University Librarian. This position presents an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to the future of DCU, as it enters its next stage of development.
The ideal candidate will have a record of accomplishment in leadership and senior management experience in a university library, at both strategic and expert level. They will have a demonstrable reputation for shaping and delivering strategy, together with an extensive knowledge of the Irish Higher Education Sector, along with the key issues facing academic libraries. They will be able to communicate and deliver a compelling vision for future-focussed service delivery in support of research, teaching and learning.
