The Paddy Power User Experience team is looking for a Content Strategist, to enhance and develop the content on our digital platforms.
We need a strong individual who can spot an opportunity to improve how we create, structure, manage and distribute content at both a detailed and strategic level.
You’ll be comfortable conducting analysis and creating content strategies based on user and business insights, all this while being sensitive to our existing processes and technological capabilities.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with UX methodologies and is likely to have a background in one of the following areas: library science, information architecture, editorial or content production and management.
You relish the challenge of taking on a new role and know what it takes to develop this function through building relationships with internal teams of marketers and content writers.
Finally, to complement Paddy Power Product Development, you’re passionate about improving customer experiences.
Key responsibilities
- To review, analyse and audit content to inform detailed and strategic decisions
- Conduct gap analysis, competitive assessments and user/stakeholder interviews
- To create lasting plans for legacy content
- Assist in the creation of taxonomies
- Collaborating with teams to build integrated, user-centred offerings
- Work on strategic initiatives that improve our content creation, distribution, and maintenance

- Experience working on large-scale websites

- Able to articulate complex ideas in a simple and effective way
- Build consensus and relationships
- Know desktop, mobile and tablet
Qualifications
- Bachelors/Masters degree
- Knowledge of the leisure/gaming industry would be advantageous
